My goal today was to probe the full mouth on both of my patients in 20-25 minutes. I think I made my goal today, but Chanci wrote down some of my probe readings for me, which makes things go a lot faster. My patient this morning was a class V, and my afternoon patient was a class 1B. I got both of them finished in one appointment along with x-rays. I used my morning patient as my class V exam, and it went well. My goal for next week is to get better at using my Gracies on my class 3 patient.

My goal for today was to work on my ultrasonic skills. My morning patient was a class 3, and I got to scale one quad, so I definitely got to work on my ultrasonic skills. It was great! My afternoon patient was a class 2/class 3. I didn't get any scaling done though. X-rays seemed to take forever today because I had to take regular films, and I had to take one retake. My instructors said that my afternoon patient would work for the mock boards, but I should try to find a better patient. My goal for next week is to try to probe the full mouth in 20-25 minutes.

My goal for today was to finish the OD in 1 hour for both of my patients. I don't think I made my goal for my morning patient, but I did for my afternoon patient. My morning patient was a spanish speaking patient. He was a class 2 and I finished him! My original afternoon patient cancelled this morning, but I found someone else to come in. She was a 1B, and I got all done with her by 2:30. Today was great! I feel like I actually accomplished something today! My goal for next week is to work on my ultrasonic skills.

My goal today was to get through the OD on both of my patients. I saw a class V patient this morning that had enough bone loss to be a class IV, but not enough calculus. I only got through the OD and took some x-rays. My afternoon patient went a lot better! She was a class V patient as well, but I got everything done on her. I feel ok about my first day back seeing patients, but I really need to work on my speed. My goal for next week is to finish the OD in 1 hour.
