My goal for today was to evaluate the appointment with my first "real" patient. I am feeling a little bit better about last week's appointment after hearing about everyone else's experience. It was definitely a good learning experience for me. I still have a long way to go, but I also have realized today that I have come a long way since the first of the semester. I am a perfectionist, and I think that is why I take so long to do things. I need to do better at being faster, while still doing a good job. I am looking forward to the practice that I am going to get next semester. I am a little worried about getting patients, but I know it will all work out. My goal for next semester is to be more positive, and to not get so down on myself when I don't do things as well as I would like.
