My goal this past week was to look for a mock board pt. I thought today was surely going to be the day I found one. I finished my patient from last week who was just a class 5 this morning. This afternoon I was supposed to see a hispanic lady, but she said she had no money so I could see her brother. As I went over his health history with him, he said he had never been to the dentist. I knew for sure this was the patient I had been looking for. I took x-rays and I was disappointed to see no radiographic calculus. After doing the OD, I was very, very disappointed to find out he was only a 1B! I haven't seen any Class 3 or 4 patients this semester. My goal for next week is to find a class 3 or 4 patient, or a mock board patient.
