My goal for today was to work on my scaling time. I saw my class 2 exam pt. this morning, so I was really trying to get a good scale time, but unfortunately I think I was hurrying too fast because I missed 4 clicks of calculus. My pt. this afternoon was a class 5. I was going along really well until I got to the lingual of the mandibular anteriors. He had sheet calculus all along those teeth. It took a few more minutes than usual to clean those teeth. I feel good about today though because I finished up the last of my requirements and my last exam! Next week is Thanksgiving, so I am going to eat a lot of food and not worry a bit about patients! In two weeks, my goal is to miss a maximum of 2 spots of calculus on each patient.
